Screen Sharing stops when user is not administrator of laptop when trying to install a program

Hi

Does anyone have a solution or setting that is require as when clients are not administrator of their laptop which is almost 99% for cyber and network security reasons, when we remotely connect to their laptops to install certain software even when we select install as an administrator the screen stops sharing and we are not able to install the adminstrators username and password as the client needs to cancel out the program credential box to give us access again.

Any ideas?

thanks Amy

Hi Amy,

What's happening there sounds like a User Account Control restriction, set up by Microsoft for security reasons.  If you upgrade GoToAssist to run as a service before you attemtp to manage / change anything on the user's end, then you should be able to confirm the upgrade and then receive full admin rights.
