Agreed! We work with many different customers, on their systems. We want our footprint onto their systems to be minimal. Asking them to set up a service so that we can utilize RescueAssistant is not optimal.

@dhicks GoToMeeting v8.46 has been deployed to all customers yet, once that process starts it will be installed through the automatic update feature. 

 

@DRZook GoToAssist does not need to be preinstalled on your client's computer, they can join a one-time support session and the software can be automatically removed when it ends.  Our new RescueAssist version makes use of a simple browser plug-in, so it has an even smaller footprint.

Looks like RescueAssist / GotoAssist requires another license purchase, at $55 x 12 = $660 per year.  I'm likely not going to do that just so I can have CTRL-ALT-DEL, but thank you for the offer.

@DRZook I understand. The odds of GoToMeeting ever supporting more advanced functions like sending a Ctrl+Alt+Delete are very minimal as GoToMeeting would need to be able to Run as a Service, this, in turn, requires the user to have admin rights and would create an unnecessary barrier to attendees who are just trying to join a meeting.

 

I just want to make sure anyone reading this thread understands the limitations, it not just a GoToMeeting ignoring a seemingly simple feature request.

I, too, am experiencing the Tab key not working and it's very difficult.  Can you update me to version 8.46, as well?
