What's New With GoTo Webinar - October
3 MIN READ Happy October! As the leaves change, we’re excited to bring you this month’s community blog update, highlighting fresh features and improvements we’ve introduced over the past few weeks. Drawing Tools Now Instantly Accessible from Regular Layout Until now, Drawing Tools were available only for presenters in the Flexible Layout on GoTo app. Now, if you’re sharing your screen using GoTo app in Regular Layout, you’ll see a new Drawing Tools button right on your bottom control bar. No more hunting for drawing features — they’re right on your main screen. You can jump into drawing and switch layouts smoothly — making collaboration quicker and simpler. ✨ How Does It Work? In GoTo app When you share you screen, you’ll see the new "Draw" button in bottom control bar in Regular Layout. Click it to access the drawing menu and instantly switch to Flexible Layout. In Flexible Layout Enjoy the full drawing palette and flexible screen arrangement. Stay in Flexible Layout or seamlessly merge back to Regular Layout when you’re finished drawing. Note: At present, drawing tools are not supported when using GoTo collaboration tools in a web browser. You will see the "Draw" button will be visible in bottom control bar but not clickable. You’ll see a tooltip message prompting you to switch to GoTo app for desktop to use drawing tools. Laser Pointer in Drawing Tools We’re excited to introduce the Laser Pointer feature in GoTo’s Drawing Tools! This was one of the most requested features from customers who loved it in the classic experience, and now it’s available in the new GoTo Meeting, Training and Webinar experience! ✨ How Does It Work? Simply open Tools while sharing your screen and select the Laser Pointer option. Use your mouse to point and guide attention during presentations — perfect for highlighting key details, leading live demos, or stepping through complex diagrams. 💡 Drawing Tools, now more discoverable than ever, can be accessed right from your bottom meeting control bar from your regular mode! The Laser pointer will also be visible in your GoTo Webinar Recordings. Only presenters can use the Laser Pointer at this time. Conditional certificates A popular community request, we’re thrilled to introduce a powerful new feature: organizers can now tailor certificate distribution based on how long attendees participate in webinars! This enhancement helps to: Boost certificate credibility Promote genuine engagement and learning Support compliance and audit requirements Details Organizers can now set a minimum attendance duration in the “Customize Certificate” section. Only attendees who meet or exceed this duration will receive certificates via follow-up email. Enhanced Reporting A new column in the Attendee Report shows whether each attendee received a certificate, based on the minimum duration requirement. Example: If the minimum duration is set to 2 minutes, only attendees present for at least 2 minutes will receive a certificate (e.g., in below sample report, only the attendee with 4 minutes attendance qualifies). Note: This new column is only available for future reports and not past webinars. We’d love to hear your thoughts on these updates—please share your feedback and join the conversation in the comments. Your participation helps us continue growing and making the community better for everyone. Stay tuned for more updates and don’t hesitate to let us know what topics or features you’d like to see featured next.18Views0likes0CommentsPut Your Speakers in the Spotlight 🌟

1 MIN READ Hello GoTo Webinar Community! In addition to the new registration page making its debut in September, we have another update to highlight. In-Player Transcripts for GoTo Webinar Recordings To enhance your experience when watching recordings of GoTo Webinar sessions, we’re excited to introduce transcripts directly within the video player. Previously, transcripts were only available outside the video, making them inaccessible during full-screen playback. With this update, you can now follow along with the spoken content as you watch—making it easier to engage with your videos. This improvement also advances our commitment to accessibility, helping us make GTW sessions available to a wider audience. Details Below are the main changes that are being introduced: Registrant View: Transcripts are now embedded in recorded videos viewed by session registrants. Organizer View: Transcripts are also available when organizers play GTW recordings from their dashboard. Enhanced Transcript Format for managing large content: Transcripts are divided into manageable segments for better readability. Each segment is no longer than 300 characters. Each segment covers up to 10 seconds of audio. Segments are split at natural language boundaries for a smooth reading experience. Note: This release is available for all GoTo Webinar users. Currently, it supports Tablet and Desktop devices. Mobile device support is planned for a follow-up release in early Q4. Please share your questions, comments and feedback below.28Views0likes0CommentsIntroducing GoTo Webinar new Registration Page

1 MIN READ We’re excited to announce the integration of Interprefy with the new GoTo Webinar experience! This innovative collaboration empowers organizers to host webinars with live interpretation support in multiple languages, ensuring seamless communication. Interpretation can be provided using AI or live human interpreters, offering flexibility to meet your needs. To use Interprefy, follow the below steps: Obtain a Token Key Submit a request via the Interprefy team (accessible through the webinar dashboard under LIVE INTERPRETATION). The Interprefy team will provide a quote based on your requirements. After payment, a token key will be generated, and a dedicated Project Manager from Interprefy will assist in conducting the webinar. This process typically takes 2-3 business days. Add the token key Log in to the webinar dashboard in the new GTW experience and input the token key for each webinar session. One token is needed for each webinar session. Please note, Interprefy tokens are valid only for use with the new GTW experience. Use the Interpreter in-session During the webinar, participants will see an Interprefy widget in the bottom-right corner of their session screen. Click the headphone icon to select a preferred language for interpretation. Once selected, participants will hear the interpreted audio instead of the speaker’s original audio.
