My friend appears online when he shouldn't
Hello everyone, I need some clarification here.
My friends' computer is being switched off however he appears to me as online. I restarted the PC and the Hamachi service just to be sure. What would be the cause for this?
EDIT: I did run a diagnosis and it said something that it can't reach it but when I looked at the properties I did see that there was a speed between the connections. I would also try to ping but it would say "Time out".

Right, but that still does not explain the fact that he appears online. I need more clarification on that aspect please

Why do I get Request Timed Out when trying to ping a computer? In most cases, a "Request Timed Out" message is caused by a firewall blocking the connectivity.
