Cannot login with windows 10

My computer was recently upgraded to windows 10.  We use microsoft 365 office, and I believe the computer is logged into that account when I sign on to my computer. I have read threads that suggest that I need to use the Microsoft 365 account login, when remotely accessing my computer, however that does not work.  I have used logmein remotely before changing to the windows 10/microsoft 365 without any issues in the past, so am sure that I have the correct credentials when attempting to log in remotely.
