Host app menus visible, but revit, bluebeam, sketchup content windows blank

Remoting into systems that were headless or monitors were off- teams could open apps (Revit, Bluebeam, Sketchup) But the work areas/views to those applicaitons were blank. We could blindly select items but not see them.

So we reset all power settings to always on and added monitors to the headless systems and set powerto always on- (PCI Link power settings toOFF so no power savings were available) And no everyone seems to have full visible access to the applicaitons and the content windows in those applciations.

Is that really the solutoion? Do monitors have to be on wasting electricity for LMI to 'see' the applicaiton content windows properly? or is it the link state?

Is there a way to run dual monitors remotely - even if there is only 1 or no monitors on the host?

I am having the same issue. Did you figure out a solution?

There is no software setting or hardware setting(from Nvidia) to override this issue.  If the monitors are OFF LMI will skim the GFX off the card- but the CARD will not render the 3D graphics or overdraw regions. Nvidia is awware of the issue (HAven't heard anything).

There are headless and pass-thorugh dongles and adaptors that simulate monitors on to resolve the issue. Crazy it is an issue without a software switch fo be flippe don the GFX hardware.

Here are the 'headless' display options on Amazon...
