How do you re-associate a computer that is already in your computers list?

I had to reinstall windows on my desktop so now need to reinstall logmein.  When I log in to logmein I see my two computers there but that one says offline.  What do I need to do to reinstall the software and bring it back online?  Can't find it anywhere?  When I try to do add a computer my only option is upgrade.

 

Any helps is appreciated!

Hi @kgdmom,

 

You will want to remove the computer from your account and then go through adding it again on your new Windows installation:

  1. Go to www.LogMeIn.com.
  2. Log in to your account using your LogMeIn ID (email address) and password. 
    The Computers page is displayed.
  3. You can delete computers in bulk or individually.
    • Delete multiple:
      1. On the Computers page, change the computer view to Detail View.
      2. Click the checkbox for each computer you want to delete.
      3. Click the Delete icon above the computer list and confirm deletion.
    • Delete individually:
      1. On the Computers page, click Properties > General Settings for the computer you want to delete.
      2. Click Delete this computer.
Once you have done this, click on Add Computer on your Computers page and complete the install process.

Hi GlennD,

 

I went throught the provess you described below as I had the same problem and it fixed it, however although it tells me I have 1 seat left, when I try to add my current computer again it says I have to upgrade. Are you able to help at all?
