Logmein Pro Client compatibility with Apple Silicon M1 Macs and/or Rosetta
Does Logmein Pro Client work with the new Apple Silicon M1 Macs ? Either natively or through Rosetta emulation? Any plan to support the new Macs ?

I had this same problem as well with an M1 Mac mini. LogMeIn support said they are working on M1 compatibility. I was able to figure out a workaround that does not require physical access to the machine and it works great for me.
From the LogMeIn Client, try to login to the machine and you will see that black screen. Then go back to the client and launch the terminal - you should get a terminal prompt if the machine is up. In the terminal, type "caffeinate -u -t 2" and press enter. You should now have video.
Apparently this works because caffeinate with these arguments tells the M1 Mac that there is a user present at the computer, so it turns on the video.

I'm sorry we don't have any new development news around M1 compatibility yet.

Good evening,
Has there been any further discussions on this? I have delayed updating to a new Mac with the M1 Pro for 6 months as I knew there were some compatibility issues with the software I use. These have all been addressed, however, Logmein still hasn't fixed this issue.
Please confirm timing for a solution to this issue.
Thanks

It truly seems LogMeIn could care less about our problems. I have never been able to confirm nor do I think they have more than one person that is Mac centric working at this company. If that! They certainly don't mind taking my 3 to $4000 each year but I can't use the stupid Mac Desktop or iOS apps to login to 22 Mac computers. 13 are mine as well others I support... The only way to get anything done is to never let these computers monitors go to sleep. These are expensive computers and as soon as I lose one monitor I'm going to sue this freaking company for not fixing this **bleep** problem. The right thing to do would be for them to admit defeat and quit supporting the Mac & iOS platforms. Apple remote desktop, team viewer, slapshop have no issue with this. LOGMEIN could fix this if they wanted to… They just don't care. Too big… This problem has been going on forever and it is well documented. This company makes me absolutely sick. I hate LogMeIn and their garbage software (for Mac users).

This bug was finally fixed in the Oct 5 2022 update:

the only solution i have found is using the main menu option and rebooting the machine remotely.
caffeinate -u -t 2 does nothing on my system.
normal reboot works (but stinks)
logmein should fix and soon. at these prices the product should actually work.

Where exactly do I find this main menu reboot option? Thanks

main menu->preferences->advanced->view reboot options->normal reboot
