Re: dual monitor icon/button missing after update (pro)

Well, I don't have any 'dummy" output cards or sticks ... I just have the onboard graphics on the motherboard with 2 monitors attached.   It all worked just perfect with blank screens until I applied the most recent LogMeIn update.    After that I update, I can no longer use my two monitors with blank screen enabled.

Re: dual monitor icon/button missing after update (pro)

A computer that a colleague uses is having the same issues. It has 2 monitors on the onboard graphics card using VGA and DVI. Until the most recent update, multiple monitors and blank screening could be used. As described by other users, blank screening can't be used if you want to use multiple monitors. When not using blank screening, LogMeIn is causing Windows 10 display settings to see 4 monitors when only 2 are plugged in. However, when you disconnect from LogMeIn the Windows 10 settings show the correct amount of monitors (2). Has anyone else had these issues?

Re: dual monitor icon/button missing after update (pro)

If you have access to the Host PC, we are looking to gather recent log files from those exhibiting multi-monitor / display issues under the latest software build.  Please forward these logs to 'gotoservice@logmein.com'.  Thanks.

Is the below link the recommended way to obtain log files in the latest build?

Re: Multiple Monitor Issue

I've had the same problem. I've been using my all-in-one to access both work monitors for over a year, but suddenly Logmein quit showing me the second monitor. There is also no longer Monitors in my options. This has been going on for several weeks now, so both computers have been rebooted numerous times. I'm frustrated. It was wonderful being able to activate whichever monitor I needed by just clicking on it.

Re: Multiple Monitor Issue

@npope6  Thank you for the setup info.  We are actively investigating this issue with the newest LMI build, and hope to have a better idea of the cause soon.

Re: Multiple Monitor Issue

Some in our company are experiencing the issue also on the Mar 12 LMI software. Host ver 4.1.0.14344; Client ver 1.3.5214.  A person at the office logged onto an affected PC and both monitors displayed fine. Through LMI toolbar, the Options/Monitor selection is missing and also the CustomizeToolbar/ScreenSettings/Monitors.

Not everyone on those versions is effected -- but one is 2 too many.

Can LMI supply the installation of the prior host/client versions so we can drop down until it's fixed?

Re: Multiple Monitor Issue

That would be a GREAT IDEA!!!  Can we undo whatever was in the upgrade and downgrade?

LMI has upset many users.  I'm hoping there are enough upset users that IT has prioritized the software patch.  At least that's what they told me when I made a Case Call.

I'm paying what I consider a high premium for LMI pro and it's functionality for dual monitors is now gone.  Trust me when I say I'm searching for other options!  I'm only one user but LMI should be embarrassed by this mess up.

Re: Multiple Monitor Issue

I believe you can temporarily disable the LogMeIn driver responsible for screen blanking, but then you sacrifice privacy at the Host end.
