Mac OS client always freezes while logging in during Duo authentication step
I've been trying to log in on Mac OS 10.13.6 using LogMeIn Client 4.1.8031. After I type in my email and press Log in, the progress circle starts turning and then the app freezes. It seems like it gets hung up during the Duo authentication step. I don't receive any notification from Duo on my phone. My Macbook's fans start spinning like it's computing a lot, but nothing ever happens. Also, when I check the LogMeIn logs there is no record of my Mac attempting to connect.
When I try logging in through Safari the result is identical. Strangely, when I try to log in through Firefox on the same Mac, authentication step succeeds but the app is unusable because it is outdated.
I tried deleting and reinstalling LogMeIn, also manually deleted the logmein files including system ones, and reinstalled. The result is the same. The app was working fine 1 week ago, then my credentials reset I and it forced me to re-authenticate. I'd appreciate any help! Thanks!!
Hi stobias, I've see from your support case notes that your were provided an older Mac app version, are you able to sign in successfully now?
