Contact LogMeIn support. I have made the old installer available to them and pleaded with them to make it available on their site or at least when people contact. They ignored me. I cannot continue to do their job for them. Maybe if enough of you scream loud enough to become the proverbial squeaky wheel, they will stop ignoring us. Better yet, do what I did. Switch to Lite Manager. Remoteuser2007 and others, It looks like the dropbox location used by someone else does not work without logging in. It was my hope that he had found a persistent way to make the installer available but, alas, not so. We transfer will only last 7 days. I'm putting the old installer there one more time for you and others that need this. I refuse to do the job of LogMeIn's support. they should be offering this to you. In my humble opinion, you should rebel against them and stop using LogMeIn - at least if you're still on Windows XP. liteManager is a better tool than LogMeIn, is free, and works with XP. Since I don't have a persistent way to post the older installer for those of you that are still using XP, and since Logmein support refuses to make this available to you guys or even respond to my suggestion that they do so, and since I don't want to continue being the source of this old installer, I suggest that you consider a different solution. I have switched to LiteManager. I like it better than Logmein and it's free for up to 30 host machines if I recall correctly. Enjoy.9KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Need old installer for XP
Apparently, the WeTransfer link expires. sorry about that. It is unfortunate that LogMeIn support won't pick up the gauntlet on this and start providing this installer. I have two old installers for LogMeIn Pro what at least one will run on Windows XP. Remember, LogMeIn Pro runs fine on XP but the new installer does not. That may not always be true. I'm willing to share the old installer but don's see any way to attach files here. The 2014 version is over 20 MB while the 2016 version is under 8 MB.
