Re: MacOS Mojave Privacy Setting Causes Chicken or Egg Dilemma
I can't seem to get the new beta version. I'm currently on GTA V4.7 build 1673. I've updated my Admin Settings to include beta updates. I've tried "check for updates" several times - nothing gets downloaded. I've "exited" from GTA and restarted computer - no new update for GTA. What else can I try?Re: MacOS Mojave Privacy Setting Causes Chicken or Egg Dilemma
Hello everybody: Here's what is working for Mac Mojave as of 7/20,2019. On Mac setup unattended as usual using the standard URL followed by the /unattended option. To successfully connect and control this Mac, the local user has to enter their password. Then you use web-based REMOTEASSIST from either PC* or Mac Safari**. * From Windows 10 PC used Google Chrome Version 75.0.3770.142 (Official Build) (64-bit) to successfully connect. Even though documentation says Firefox is acceptable, the latest version could not complete the connection. ** From Mac Mojave used Safari to successfully to connect. Did not try Google Chrome or FireFox. Hope this helps with the frustration. G2AX still works successfully with connecting and controlling Windows PC's.4.7KViews0likes37CommentsRe: MacOS Mojave Privacy Setting Causes Chicken or Egg Dilemma
Re: MacOS Mojave Privacy Setting Causes Chicken or Egg Dilemma Hi @LRP Just to confirm; The Mac was already running Mojave and you had been connecting to it using build 1599 successfully? - YES You had already gone through the new Mojave security prompts and allowed GTA-RS? – YES After the Unattended Mac updated to build 1610 you can still connect but are unable to login because it won't let you enter the password? – Correct, cannot remotely type in the password. Has to be entered locally. Through the manage devices in your account, you can switch the Macs device group back to build 1599 and see if it will let you enter your password. – Yes, “downgraded” all my remote Mac’s to Release 1599 to be able to type in password. I'll report this to the team. – Thank you.
