ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: 4320 error on user login Ok - this is annoying now. Previous installs worked -- I just did another one that also failed to work successfully. the credentials for this user on the pc are azure active directory (office 365) and based on the email address as login name (e.g. john@precision.com) but Logme in says the login name required is JohnDoe -- which is not an account on the computer or in our azure AD. Previously, the installer would know that this account/install must use an access code to grant remote control. Is there a better way to get these installs to work? I can work around if I am physically present, but not if it is a link emailed to a remote user. DR Re: 4320 error on user login Along this same thread, I just did an install on a pc in our office and immediately had a chain of problems - which I didn't get on other pc's here. 1. After the install, the setup did not recognize the PC as one that uses office 365 credentials (no dedicated local account) - -and hence did not present the option to set up an access code -->I had to workaround this by manually creating a LogMeInRemoteUser admin account <-- 2. Trying to then connect generated the above 4320 error. I then had to manually grant "everyone" full access in the logmein control panel options ->These extra permissions are not necessary on the other office 365 pc's in the office. I'd like to understand why this one was different? Any ideas? DR Re: file distribution speed Hi again, I retested locally this morning and now things are running at full speed. Nothing has changed on my side. I simply re-ran the same plan and now I am getting 4megs per second. ?? Not sure why the hamsters were so slow yesterday ?? DR Re: file distribution speed Ok - will do. I've got a client in Indiana who can assist with giving me test access. I'll let you know Re: file distribution speed This is a test of the system, just going to the laptop sitting beside me. I can get 7 or so megabytes per second from most common internet sources (e.g. google drive, our cloud based ftp site) We are in Vancouver Re: file distribution speed Hi Ash, I did already set it to fast, but no practical change has been seen. I can't imagine why the logmein cloud servers are sending out at roughly 8kbytes per second. Someone needs to turn the knob a little to towards "full blast". A ten hour download is simply not practical. My users are all on laptops that come on and go off for an hour at a time. Re: file distribution speedhmm at the current rate it is going to take 12 hours to send this video. I think we should be able to do better.file distribution speed Hi, I'm at the moment testing a one2many task to push a video file to a client pc. The file is 350megs and it looks like the transfer is proceeding. The issue I am having is with the speed. In resource monitor I see the throughput running at about 32kbytes per second. That is really slow. If I run speed test on that client computer (while the transfer is ongoing) I get 61Mbits per seconds (a bit over 7 Megabytes per second). Why is the transfer from the logmein server so slow? Can I speed it up somehow? Is there a transfer speed setting? Thanks, dR Re: Your session has timed out or host went offline during your connection attempt..... I believe the issue is now resolved! It seems to have been a conflict of some kind with a windows update and the killer network wireless drivers on the system. The drivers where not too old (June) but there was one update since that seems to have fixed it. (debugging was a pain.. remote in via wired connection, write some test scripts that disconnected wired, connected wireless, ran tests, reconnect wired so I can be sure to get back in and retest.) Anyway, working now, thanks for your time, DR Re: Your session has timed out or host went offline during your connection attempt..... Hi again, Our client has been able to connect on this same network using other remote software this morning (to our competitor) -- this is now a serious issue for us to get resolved! How do I escalate this? dR
