Re: AutoCad authentication conflict with Logmein
Well a couple of years later and still nobody willing to fix this issue. What I have found now is when you login to AutoCad do NOT login to AutoCad itself. Login to the AutoDesk Desktop app. This will authenticate and then you can login to AutoCad. Works for AutoCad 2019 and newer at least.2.2KViews0likes3CommentsApplications update inventory
The new Application Update system. I know it is very basic by design but a little too basic. I know you can run an inventory of applications but that shows all applications installed. What would be nice is to get a report of the applications and versions that is being managed by Application Update. Then you could see where you are. Be able to confirm applications are updated and what version everyone is running. I see a simple addon to the current inventory report to maybe give an option for just managed apps. So AutoDesk says it is not their problem but at least have it documented on their web site on how to get around it. Just have to travel from Georgia to Alaska to do the onsite authentication. Logmein says not their problem. Wish both of you would get together on this to resolve. We pay a lot of money for Logmein Centreal. So in the meantime ignore me please on this and take my money.6.7KViews0likes9CommentsRe: AutoCad authentication conflict with Logmein
Is there any update to this issue? Have you reached out to AutoDesk? Now that we are forced to working at home I cannot go to everyones house to activate their AutoCad. You saw the work around. Stop Logmein services, activate Autocad and the start Logmein services. Really a huge issue now. Please help. I would be available to for testing or to work with you in any way. OK So my machines are on a domain. I don't have the users password so I cannot log in as them. I do have domain admin credentials. Do you have an example of how I can make a registry entry if I have this type of access? Thanks, Randall2.3KViews0likes1Comment
