Issue with Installing GoToMeeting: Error 1722 and Failed Installation of Version 10.19.19950 and 10.
Hello, I am unable to install GoToMeeting version 10.19.19950 or 10.17.19796. However, the installation of the old package version 10.4.15939 is successful. The error message I receive during the installation of the newer versions is: "Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action _421693A2_89BA_4B03_A4B3_147201B64F76, location: C:\Program Files (x86)\GoToMeeting\Shared\CPS\G2MCpsBridge.exe, command: "/RegServer"" We have attempted installation on multiple environments such as Windows Server 2016 and Citrix Server 7.15, but the issue persists. Greeting GotoMeeting Participants, I have recently confirmed with one of your support staff that GotoMeeting no longer supports integrations outside of Microsoft 365. I kindly request that this feature be reinstated, as all of our users utilize Office 2021 LTSC. Currently, they must schedule meetings through the Goto Online Portal, which is not ideal as they cannot view the meetings in their Outlook Calendars. As a temporary solution, I have asked them to copy the invitation details and create a new meeting request within Outlook, but this adds extra steps compared to the ease of use offered by the Outlook Plugin. I kindly request that this feature be added to future updates. This would greatly improve the satisfaction of our users. Thank you. CarolSolved3.8KViews0likes5Comments
