That happened to my coworker. the link they need to send is not the standard reset link, like if you went to LMI central. This link forces you to use a 12 character minimum, and forces you to use upper and lower case with numbers and symbols. contact them again and tell them the link they need to send is not the standard one. Re: LogMeIn Client Bug After Forced Password Resets Is it all possible to the team to implement a button on the admin console side to send this type of link to reset the password to who is ever having this issue? that way its not something everyone can do, unless you are the admin of the account? just a suggestion to possible pass along. more of my team at work are also having this issue now out of no where. Re: LogMeIn Client Bug After Forced Password Resets The solution does work. you will need to contact support and make sure that they send the right link for the password reset. i was sent a link and i had to put in a 12 character password, but my co-worker got a standard password reset. you have to get the correct password reset. you might need to also see if you admin for LMI can send the password reset. We have not tried that yet, so that might be an option. Re: Keep getting logged out We seemed to have had a break through! you will need to contact support and have them send you a link to hard reset you password. It will be a 12 character password that you will need to do, but then after you will need go to LMI central and do another forgot password and change your password again, but it will not be a 12 character limit. Re: LogMeIn Client Bug After Forced Password Resets Hey Glen we are using the windows desktop app. I have done a complete reinstall with files being deleted, as well as using the delete all stored login credentials on the client. i have even bumped the idle time to a full day Re: LogMeIn Client Bug After Forced Password Resets Me and a coworker of mine are both having this same issue. after about 10 minutes or so we are logged out of LMI and need to enter in all our login info. i have sense done this and it is still happening. and other ideas?
