Allow the Organizer to edit Attendees names during the meeting
Hello, I am currently utilizing Go To desktop App with the following version(s): Windows states version 4.15.0, whereas the client about section states version 0.156.0. When hosting meetings, there are instances where participants fail to name themselves properly, or provide invalid display names. When I view the People pane, I can see the three dots options per person in the call. When I select the options for my own name, I see an option to "Edit name & email". However, there is no equivalent option to rename any other participant in the call. I am needing to ability as the host of the call to edit the names of each participant so as to not have to stall a call to draw attention to persons to adjust their own names.(no subject)
Hello GlennD! I understand that the ability for a host to administratively rename other meeting participants is not currently available. However, my judge who hosts these meetings for official court hearings is needing this administrative feature as it would take too much time to private message or draw attention to participants during the meetings. Despite displaying a notice for meeting participants in the pre-meeting confirmation page, there are still numerous circumstances where participants incorrectly name themselves. Is this post sufficient enough to merit an official request for the feature to be implemented in a future update? Or is there another manner that I should be submitted for a feature request? Hello GlennD, I realize now that I may have accidentally posted my request tagging onto a separate post. And I also am following up on this request MUCH later. However, I still cannot locate an option to edit participant's names within the GoTo desktop app call in progress. I am using this version: Windows states version 4.15.0, whereas the client about section states version 0.156.0. Per your previous instructions, I don't quite understand which windows to merge as the desktop app is the only open window, and I couldn't find any merge option within the toolbar. Hello, I am wishing to request a feature be implemented. As an organizer of a GoToMeeting call, I have many different participants who join my calls on a daily basis. It is often that I find that participants who join my call do not create their display names for themselves in a standard manner that I have requested of them. I would greatly benefit from having the ability to change their display names in my call for my needs, rather than halting my meeting to request and instruct individuals to change their display names.194Views0likes1Comment
