Performance is dependent on the machine I connect to. It works on some machines and not on others. There is no consistency. The one machine I need it to really work on is the one where explorer crashes repeatedly. Yes. It's broken AGAIN. Screen blanking has been broken consistently for a year. It's ridiculous. Now when I try to use it, windows explorer on the remote computer keeps crashing and I can't control the remote machine. It crashes, restores the desktop and then promptly crashes again in an endless loop. Logmein should be ashamed of this disaster. It has been ongoing since 2020 and they have done little to fix it. I pay to use this software and have been a customer for more than a decade. I have been using Logmein since it first became available in the early 2000s. Most of us are running later versions like 2004 or 20H2 so your fix won't work. We shouldn't have to use workarounds to make a feature work that broke because Logmein didn't keep up their compatibility with Windows 10 updates. Windows 10 compatibility should be a given for a product that's designed to manage Windows PCs. I've been using Logmein since it first became available in the early 2000s, back when it was free. I used it along with competitors like VNC. I stuck with Logmein even when they started charging money for it because it was the best. Now I pay a lot of money every year to use Central and Rescue. The screen blanking feature is critical for some of us and it's been broken for half a year. It's well past time for a fix. Again, this isn't freeware anymore. We pay to use it and it's broken. Enough is enough. Get it fixed and stop making excuses and telling us the fix is coming soon. There is no fix. It's a Logmein problem that they have known about since August and have still not fixed even though they keep saying it's coming soon. Soon apparently means more than 6 months. HELLO LOGMEIN!! Why has there been NO ACTION on this? This feature has been broken for months! This is a paid product and we expect it to work. This feature is critical to many of us. WE NEED AN ANSWER! Silence on your part is not acceptable.6.3KViews3likes4Comments
