Dark Mode for Web and Desktop
Having a built in dark mode option for the Go To Meeting website application and desktop application would be very useful. For me, I have sensitive eyes, so the the bright backgrounds can cause issues for me. With the web application I have tried utilizing different chrome extensions to give it a dark mode and unfortunately haven't found any that work well across this and my other daily web applications.3KViews5likes9CommentsDelivered: Auto kick duplicate attendees
If an attendee is in a webinar multiple times (by following a shared link etc.) can you have it automatically remove the older attendee in favor of the new one? What I envision: -Webinar starts -Person1 joins with link1 -Person2 joins with link1 -Person2 is asked if they want to <kick Person1> -[YES] --Person1 is kicked from the session --Person2 joins the session -[NO] --Person2 does not join the session2.8KViews0likes3CommentsWhy is Flexible Layout only for the Presenter?
This is just terrible. We have a team of producers on our webinars, the person that's presenting is generally not the one that is trying to monitor attendees and chat at the same time. Is there some magic way to undock those two tabs for Organizers who are not presenting?Solved1.8KViews0likes6CommentsThe ability to keep specific GoTo App windows in front when using Presentation mode
I miss the cameras being in front of the screen i am sharing. How about an option to keep the camera screen on top, or in front of the screen i am sharing. Moderator Edit: removed additional suggestion and updated title for clarity1.8KViews0likes9CommentsWebcast - chat not showing for all attendees
We used the GTW webcast today and it left me with questions as an organizer. We really like the streamlined look for attendees and I hope this is the view of the future. As an organizer, the pre-entered info showed in the chat on the control panel and in the attendee question box. But any additional information added to the chat on the control panel and sent to all attendees, did not show on the attendee view of the webcast. Our workaround was to quickly sign in as an attendee; ask an innocuous question and then answer as an organizer through the question box from the control panel. Why, because when you answer something in the question box as an organizer and choose send to all, the response that attendees see includes the original question. We want to be considerate to our attendees and continue to encourage interaction through the question box. Do we have something set up incorrectly in our webinar set up that would fix this?Any other suggestions? Thanks Jean moderator edit: title for claritySolved1.7KViews0likes5CommentsAdd reaction options for attendees
I'm surprised that, like other platforms, there aren't feedback and reaction options for attendees. They have no way to thumbs up or down, like or unlike, agree or disagree with, laugh at, show frustration with, or generally emote to the presenters. in any way other than Questions/Chat feedback via typed words.1.6KViews0likes7CommentsPlaying/Sharing a Youtube Video during meeting
Hi everyone! We are currently using GoToMeeting Business in our environment. We frequently host meetings where the presenter needs to play a video which can be seen by the meeting attendees. The vast majority of these videos are from Youtube, although on occasion the presenter may play a .mp4 video file. The issue we run into here is while the video and audio play normally on the presenter's device, the attendees report poor video and audio quality (the video is choppy and the audio is delayed). Is there a way in G2M for the presenter to play a video without the attendees experiencing poor audio/video quality? I think what we are looking for is an embedded video player but I can't seem to find this option in the G2M desktop app for Mac. Thank you very much for your help!Solved1.4KViews0likes2CommentsMagnification value with camera zoom
Customer asked for the function to have either a slide bar or the possibility for more preconfigured values when zoom is adjusted. Currently there is no possibility other then the 100% 75% 50% 25% as preconfigured values. There is also no way to enter a value for the percentage of magnification. The scroll function of the mouse can be used to zoom in and out but this is not obvious to the users and also most are using a laptop with touchpad. Thank you in advance for your help.1.4KViews0likes4Comments
