Organizer should be able to close single Experts' webcam
In the new version of the GoTo app (even in the Chrome browser) the Organizer can't shut down the webcam of a single Expert. That was a very useful function of the past versions of the GoToWebinar app (back when there was a specific app for Webinar). This function is vital if you are having a Webinar with multiple Experts, and one of them forgets to close his webcam, resulting even in embarassing moments. You should think about enable that again.2Views0likes0CommentsDefault Audio Country on GoToWebinar API
I would like to set the Preferred Number (shown first) for a webinar through the API. This is currently only available in the UI. Here's my current workaround: I have a ‘template’ set up for each mix of 'GoTo Webinar Account | Primary Audio Country', (we have 6 GTW accounts), which ends up being 13 webinar templates. Then when I need a new webinar, I clone a template instead of creating new, and it carries over the exact audio details, including the ‘preferred’ country. That seems to work to get what I need done. In my testing, for whatever reason, when I clone a webinar in the past it does not clone the audio info. But if the template webinar is in the future, it does copy the audio details to the new webinar. So I set up a monthly automation in Zapier that sets the start date for each of those webinars to be in 364 days, essentially pushing out the webinar to keep it in the future.274Views1like1CommentGoToWebinar Salesforce Integration
Anyone have success integrating these? Looking for way to automatically create Salesforce campaigns for each webinar and upsert registrants as Leads/Contacts. Seems this was offered in past based on app exchange listing below that appear to no longer be supported since around 2013. Third party solutions (I.e Zapier) don’t offer this and any workaround still requires person to manually create new processes for each webinar event. We do several webinars a month and looking to automate. Please consider the ability to integrate (OBS/Ecam) virtual cameras, so users can produce professional webinars with graphics, lower thirds, title screens, etc. This feature is already available on competitors platforms (Zoom, Teams). Thank you.1.3KViews1like2Comments
