New session: removing mandatory fields
When creating a new session, there are mandatory fields for user name and company name. Is it possible to change these to optional fields or remove them all together? Is there a reason to have these as mandatory?I have not found documentation that describes if this is possible or how to modify it. As always, this community is fantastic. Thanks, - PeteSolved3.2KViews0likes2CommentsLog4J Vulnerability

Hello, I am a long-time user of the LogMeIn Rescue Technician Console specifically for remote controlling Android phones. Very recently my company purchased a few Google Pixel 5 phones, and I have found I cannot remote control them. I can view the screen, and even successfully push the quick links like "Google Play" or "Settings", but the "Click2Fix" screen just doesn't work. On the phone too it asks for "broadcasting" permission when starting the session, which I don't remember any other phone asking for. I first submitted a support ticket and the support representative said I should post this question here: When will the remote controlling work again? Additionally, will this feature ever be supported? Is there something in Android 11 that is causing issues? We consider the use of the Rescue Technician Console for phones to be a critical part of our IT workflow, and what compatibility it has is of great importance to us and the phones we choose to purchase. A prompt response would be appreciated. Thank you.Solved2.6KViews0likes1CommentLogmein AV - It is not practical and effective
Hello everyone, I need a really effective solution when using Logmein AV. Many times it blocks a driver (usually from a webcam on notebooks), among other program executables (programs from some service providers) and I can't really create a rule so that it doesn't happen, or show to the AV that a certain action performed by him is no longer to be done in that file. Anyone can help with that?2.4KViews0likes4CommentsSetting up Unattended Access to Samsung mobile Android devices via LogMeIn Rescue + Mobile License
Is there a link or good walkthrough to help us set-up LogMeIn Rescue+ Mobile Unattended access to Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 tabs. We bought in solution after speaking to LogMeIn and reading marketing thinking this was all completely possible. I believe it involves Samsung GoToAssist Remote Support App - but will we be able to use & instigate access from within LogMeIn? Are active Knox licenses required? Need to deliver this functionality to client this week now so please clear instructions or an in-house LMI step-by-step guide would be greatly appreciated. Are there any potential problems or bugs to look out for? Please relay any relevant related links. I didn't get any search results on Android unattended access so hopefully this topic will be helpful to others as well.2.4KViews0likes2CommentsQuestion regarding access to computer
Hi! I have a question regarding remote access: today IT asked me to access "secure.logmeinrescue.com/", to enter a code they gave me and to download a file. After they managed to solve my problem, the file I downloaded was gone and out of nowhere I had "logmein123" marked as a bookmark on the chrome browser. I'm wondering if there's any way to know if they can still access my computer, since there's nothing to uninstall and I can't know for sure if they logged out from my computer. Thank you in advance!Solved2.1KViews0likes2CommentsCan session log tell if file manager was used?
Hi, I recently used MacKeeper and got about 15 minutes deep into someone having access to my computer over LogMeIn Rescue before realizing “hey wait, this is sketchy”. I closed the connection and ended the session, and I think I uninstalled all of the related software. I can’t find any MacKeeper, Krom, or LMI Rescue files. I read a number of recent articles about how MK is more legit now, but I don’t know if I buy it.Solved1.9KViews0likes1Comment
