Can we get Push-to-Talk added as an option?
Participants may be in a noisy environment. The lack of push to talk creates extra hassle of constantly having to mute, then unmute with the mouse control (even when participants are wearing headphones). Push to talk would solve this. All VoIP users should be able to assign their own PTT hotkey. When pressed it unmutes the mic, and when released, mutes it again. Many voice chat programs like Ventrillo, Teamspeak, and Mumble, have PTT. This would be a valuable option for GoToMeeting, Webinar, and Training.16KViews3likes31CommentsParallel audio channel from translators
We would appreciate the ability to set parallel audio channels for simultaneous translations in other languages. There should be a translator profile in the meeting and the the ability for users to choose the right audio channel. I would like to know if you have planned to implement something similar. Thanks1.3KViews0likes3CommentsAudio quality indicator
Hi team, Please don't ignore this feature it will be very helpful for everyone. Feature: Individual user should be able to see that his voice is reaching to team member with sign of Green, red or yellow indicator so that he doesn't need to ask participant that he/she is audible or not. Scenario1: If user voice is clearly audible to other participants then it should show green indicator or some green sign to that individual person. Scenario2: If user voice is breaking in between then he should see the Audio indicator in Yellow. Scenario3: Incase user audio is not reaching to participate it should show red indicator. Technical Logic: When user talks the voice goes to other participants so same voice we can get back and depends upon that audio quality we can show these indicators to user. If you would like to go in detail about this feature you can reach out to me on below email. Hundreds of our participants are blocked from downloading and logging into GoToWebinar’s platform by firewall protections at their places of work, and we anticipate this number continuing to grow. However, those who are blocked by firewalls are still able to access our presentations over the phone using the number and access code from their GoToWebinar email invite. In order to accurately capture the attendance of our presentations, we need to know how many participants are calling in. This metric has become increasingly important for gauging the reach of our program as we have transitioned to an exclusively virtual environment during the pandemic. While we appreciate the updates that GoToWebinar has made in the Analytics section, we also understand that collecting call-in data is available for GoToMeeting and would like to request the addition of this feature to GoToWebinar as well. Thank you in advance for considering our request that we feel would benefit our organization as well as yours.4.6KViews3likes12CommentsIdentifying speakers on webinars
I teach classes that range in size, but on the smaller classes, my students want to be able to identify the speaker by name. They cannot do so in the GoToWebinar control panel. Only my name - the teacher - shows up when I speak. Since I am the presenter, everyone's name shows up on my panel. Not so, with my students, and they continually must ask who is speaking. Please change this, since the intimacy of my classes - they are memoir writing classes - really suffers.628Views0likes1CommentMake Microphone for Attendees more prominent
The microphone feature for attendees should be more prominent. When an attendee wants to speak, they don't know until they've already tried to unmute themselves that they need to change their settings on their device. This causes delays and confusion during the webinar. When the webinar is in waiting mode at the beginning or when an attendee joins, there should be some kind of notification that tells them they need to get their mics ready. From my iPad I would need to go to settings to enable the microphone but I don't know that until I've already tried to unmute myself to speak and this causes delays in the presentation and feels unprofessional. We need to make it easier for attendees to interact.1.6KViews0likes1Comment
