Chat Ability for All Attendees
Can you have attendees in GoToWebinar talk or text "chat" to each other during a live 500 attendee event?? If you can't - PLEASE - change it so they can. It is terrible that there is no way to have the attendees interact with each other - We have a weekly webinar on the same day, and same time EVERY week. Our clients like to be able to come to the event and interact with each other - and with the GoToMeeting there is no way to do that. Only the organizer can see the "Questions" from attendees. Let us know if there are plans to FIX this, thanks!49KViews4likes172CommentsKeep Chat Box Pinned on Top when using PowerPoint
I would like to add to this by saying we have also found this to be a problem. When using PowerPoint with lots of animations converting to PDF is not an option. We also have several trainers without multiple screens. Can you please refer to developers to have chat box (and people box) stay open again as it used to behave as this is very inconvenient now. Thank you1.1KViews0likes3CommentsChat Feature for Speakers
So I know speakers have access to the chat. However, when people are speaking/presenting, generally they don't monitor the chat because they're focusing on their presentation. There are times when we'd like to send a quick notification to the speaker like "talk slower", "fix your mic", or "i can see your kid in the background". It would be nice to have a chat feature where a bubble, an icon, or an alert pops up ONLY for whomever is speaking/presenting at the moment to be able to send emergency messages to them.698Views0likes2CommentsChat with a specific person, but include all organizers (feature request)
In this last training, We had the instructor leading the session as I monitored the chat window as an organizer. People were chatting with the organizers (so both the instructor and I saw the message), but when I replied to the person, the other organizer (presenter) had no idea that I was answering the question and would also start answering. It would be good to be able to reply to this person, but have my reply appear in the chat boxes of all the organizers / presenters that are logged on.1.9KViews2likes3CommentsThe ability to disable chat logs for organizers
Hello LogMeIn team, LetÃcia's client, We asked for the following improvement in GotoMeeting. She would like them to include a function to disable chat logs in general. We saw that it is possible to manually disable computer to computer as shown in the image below: However, this action becomes unfeasible for them to be executing on the organizers' machine and also for the participants, do you understand? Disabling chat is also not a viable option for them as they need this feature, they just do not want the content chatted during the meeting to be saved on the machine of customers and organizers2.3KViews0likes5CommentsI would like to be able to email the Chat Log transcript to my customer
If I have a conversation with a customer over chat, then I would like to be able to send them the Chat via email. Or give them, or myself, the ability to save it locally even after I end the session. Is there somewhere I can find the chats after the session has ended?3.4KViews0likes5CommentsI'd like to have the ability to send a chat message to an online client without having to establish a remote connection first.
I'm at GoToAssist expert version 3.5 Build 1488. For some time now, we've been able to hit the drop-down on an unattended client and force a check for updates on the client side. I'd like to see added the option to send a chat message (without actually starting the remote session) as a means to check in with a client or notify them of something, or find out if they are open to a remote session now ... things like that.1.4KViews0likes0CommentsChat with or Ping a user at an unattended computer
Hi, for some of our sites we have all servers and all end user computers setup as unattended computers. Most of the time, users email in their issues and we quickly like to jump on their computer to resolve the issue, but ofcourse, without interfering with what they are doing. Many clients would be totally fine, if we via the unattended computer window, could initiate a chat only first, before actually taking over their screen. Or send them a "ping" that we are ready to start the session. Would be greaet if something like this could be built in in a future version of GoToAssist. Thanks, Ruben1.5KViews0likes0Comments
