Bring Back All Color Quality Options
Starting about a couple weeks ago, when I connect to client computers there are only the 3 highest color quality options available to select. There used to be 6. Typically I would set the quality to the lowest color option to improve the speed/responsiveness of the connection since I don't need the full video quality. Anyone know how to get all of the options back? Or has LogMeIn done away with the lower quality settings? *** UPDATE *** 2/1/2019 So this still seems to be an issue. I just wanted to repost my work around on the top message for anyone that might not read through the whole thread: For anyone that needs the lower video quality settings, here is a link to the last version of the Client app (1.3.3987) that had all 6 video quality settings. Files are in a ZIP with a README file detailing how to run the old version. The first time it launches, it will notify about an available update. Make sure to select "skip this update". Dear support, I am a pro member and have it installed on my iPad Pro. Recently I bought a Bluetooth mouse and it works great on my IPad. But when I connect to my PC via LogMeIn, the iPad mouse does not connect to the remote PC mouse. I'm hoping somebody can help me, I have updated my iPad with the new IPadOS 13.1.2. This operating system allows you to use an external mouse with the iPad. The mouse seems to work great in almost all programs excluding logMeIn. The iPads mouse shows on the screen, I can move it. The problem is, is it does not operate as the mouse on my remote desktop. It would be great if Computer Management -> Command Line was added to GUI to Mac connections so one could traverse via command line without controlling the screen like Windows connections. Hi, I don't know if it has been brought up already on this community forum but I've just hung up with support about this. So apparently the password protection layer added in logmein is account specific, which is here admin account. This is not a good way of thinking. This password protection layer is supposed to protect the host globally from outsiders that would have credentials to any accounts on the host and not this added protection layer. The simple demonstration of that would be, I'm connecting with the credentials of a user account on the host, it bypass the added protection layer, then from inside the user account, I can run a python script or anything like that to actually guess the admin password and that's it. Then I can actually do whatever I want through the user account with admin privileges. Hello - I'm posting here as it seems there is no dedicated discussion thread for feature requests. I started a 200GB download file estimated to take ~48 hours. My connection was interrupted a short while ago having only completed around half the task. I restarted the transfer and was prompted to overwrite or skip. There was no option to resume. File transfer functionality has been around for decades. "Resume Transfer" has long been accepted as standard and expected functionality. Yet, LMI Pro doesn't seem to have it. I did call support who confirmed there was no resume. Just prior to writing this message, I selected "Overwrite". It's already 8% complete (18GB). At this rate, it would be done in another hour or two. I suspect it actually is resuming transfer and verifying what's there, but there is no clear messaging to that effect. We need to use ctrl-alt in combination with other mouse and keyboard manipulations to navigate in Rhino 3D as well as other programs we use on a regular basis. Unfortunately pressing ctrl-alt while in a remote session kicks us out of the full screen mode which is EXTREMELY TEDIOUS. It would be great if there were some diagnostic logs and/or verbose output when connecting using the View Monitor functionality. As of now, I don't know the progress or status of the connection when connecting via View Monitor to Mac or Windows endpoints and tends to take 5 - 10 to view the screen (it never works viewing the monitor of Mac though).
