Disable Ctrl-Alt, this conflicts with Rhino 3D and many other content creation programs
We need to use ctrl-alt in combination with other mouse and keyboard manipulations to navigate in Rhino 3D as well as other programs we use on a regular basis. Unfortunately pressing ctrl-alt while in a remote session kicks us out of the full screen mode which is EXTREMELY TEDIOUS. Can someone from Logmein offer a solution for this, preferably a way to disable this 'feature'. thank you!2.6KViews1like7CommentsiOS mouse compatibility
Dear support, I am a pro member and have it installed on my iPad Pro. Recently I bought a Bluetooth mouse and it works great on my IPad. But when I connect to my PC via LogMeIn, the iPad mouse does not connect to the remote PC mouse. How can I connect my IOS mouse to control the remote PC mouse please? thank you in advance!5KViews2likes14CommentsForce the session to stay maximized?
I have a user that isn't very technical. They're working from home and using LogMeIn to remote into their office machine. Multiple times a day, they move or hit something that takes their LogMeIn session out of fullscreen mode. From what I've found, I don't think there's any kind of configuration or registry setting to accomplish this or something similar, but was hoping someone else may have come across a way.892Views0likes1CommentFeature Request: Permanently disable session info overlay at top of window
I was told by technical support/customer service that I have to post a feature request here. As a user, I'd really like to be able to permanently turn off the semi-transparent session information popup/overlay window at the top of every one of my sessions. It's always in the way of what I'm doing, never useful to an end user like me, and often difficult to actually close...with my laptop mouse in bright light trying to find that tiny transparent 'x'.793Views0likes1CommentiPad and Magic Keyboard
Hello, all - I'm using my iPad and Magic Keyboard to login to my Windows computer remotely. Unfortunately, the "delete" key is a pretty commonly used tool in my workflow (among some others, like control or alt-clicking things). The Magic Keyboard doesn't have a "delete" key equivalent, and there's no way to send the equivalent commands for copy/paste either. Has anyone found a workaround? I know I can use the digital keyboard to send some commands and the popup toolbar to toggle CTRL/ALT when needed. It would be crazy helpful if I could just "pin" other keys to that toolbar. If I could pin the delete key to that same toolbar, I wouldn't have to keep pulling the full page of shortcuts up.810Views0likes0CommentsCurrent user visible in LogMeIn client
Hi, In the webversion of Logmein central, it is possible to see in the computerlist witch user have an active session (logmein) on that computer. Whit this information you are aware of who you are going to kick out. In the client version of Logmein it is not possible to see witch user in in session. Is it possible to make this info also available in the client? Greetz. Richard777Views0likes0Commentslogmein pro webapp and browser compatibility
Hi, according to that every browser should be compatible :https://community.logmein.com/t5/LogMeIn-Pro-Discussions/What-browser-to-use-when-running-Logmein-Pro/m-p/212029 Well yes and no. Maybe on windows they are all compatible but I've tried brave and firefox on fedora 33 and 34 and this is not compatible. You see the image for sure, but to actually react with the environment like right click or enter a text you need help from the toolbar or from someone on the computer itself(in the case of right clicking. So it would be nice that you put in place i nyour lab an exhaustive environment test bench to actually try also on linux(which a lot of dev and IT are using because more stable than everything else) and see which browser are able to handle your remote control webapp and maybe put some guidelines to configure the browser properly if it needs webrtc or things like that.1.1KViews0likes1Commentpassword protection layer
Hi, I don't know if it has been brought up already on this community forum but I've just hung up with support about this. So apparently the password protection layer added in logmein is account specific, which is here admin account. This is not a good way of thinking. This password protection layer is supposed to protect the host globally from outsiders that would have credentials to any accounts on the host and not this added protection layer. The simple demonstration of that would be, I'm connecting with the credentials of a user account on the host, it bypass the added protection layer, then from inside the user account, I can run a python script or anything like that to actually guess the admin password and that's it. Then I can actually do whatever I want through the user account with admin privileges. Then what would be the purpose of an added protection layer.617Views1like0CommentsNeed a report of printers connected to my computers
I have logmein central with about 400 computers. I want to know if there's a way to view what printers are connected to these computers possibly without having to remote into each one. Does central let me view this information? If I upgrade to Central Insight Module, does this report what printers are connected?1.2KViews0likes1Comment
