connecting computer to far local network

Hi there,

I have to link a computer in Country X, to a local network - which is connected to the internet by a router - in Country Y.

The reason for that is: the computer in Country X has a program that wont open unless if that computer is connected to the local network in country Y.

both operating systems are Windows.

I have tried to do mesh connection between tow computers which are in a different network, computer(1) was able to see the sharing files of computer(2) but was not able to connect to the local network.

how I can solve this issue?

Hi @Zac1 I moved your post to the Hamachi board. Since you were able to see the files, we can determine that this is related to permissions and how you are signed in on your Windows account. 

Please check your user/Windows account has permission on the other network to access the files. Hope this helps.

I was using the "mesh" type of network during that process, is that right ?

If I want to connect the computer to a local network in another country, is it right to use "mesh"?

@Zac1 I recommend trying a Gateway Network.
