Highlights

  • Support for TLS 1.2
  • Automatic configuration of service recovery
  • Citrix registry keys no longer used
  • Replacement of legacy support links

What's New?

Support for TLS 1.2

  • The latest version of the Active Directory Connector v2 software now supports TLS 1.2, which is a security protocol that is used when the ADC v2 service makes API calls and communicates user account login information with LogMeIn.  Previously, only TLS 1.0 and 1.1 were supported by the ADC v2 software.  (ADC-172)

Automatic Configuration of Service Recovery

  • The ADC v2 software is now automatically configured to restart the Active Directory Connector service in Windows in the event of a connection failure (due to a system restart or if the ADC or SCIM is unavailable) as a recovery measure.  Previously, admins had to manually configure a recovery of the Windows service.  (ADC-125)

Bug Fixes

Citrix Registry Keys No Longer Used

  • Changes were implemented to the latest version of the ADC v2 to no longer default to using Citrix registry keys and sub-keys (if they are present) at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ADCv2 in the Windows registry for the Active Directory Connector service.  Previously, the ADC v2 would use these keys if they were present, which would require the admin to sign back in to their LogMeIn account each time a change was made to the ADC v2 settings, thereby resulting in an unwanted amount of login events in the Windows Event Viewer.  (ADC-123)
