What Went Live?

Today we are excited to announce that the Rescue ServiceNow integration is now certified on ServiceNow San Diego, the 2022 spring release for ServiceNow.

Please note that there are no functionality changes in this version of the integration. We felt it important to achieve the certification ASAP in order to prevent an interruption to our customers who rely on the integration to enhance their workflows.

Customers using the integration are now able to update to the new version of ServiceNow without interruption, and can continue to realize the value the integration provides -  such as generating a pin code from a ServiceNow Case, Incident, or Agent Workspace and having session data posted back in near real time.

What’s Coming?

We are currently working on 2 new feature enhancements that will be released in the near future - subscribe to Rescue News to be notified via email!

Ability to generate a Rescue pin from a ServiceNow Interaction

Currently a Rescue pin can be generated from the Case, Incident, or Agent Workspace view within ServiceNow. This enhancement would further expand the reach of the integration and allow users who utilize ServiceNow Interactions the ability to generate Rescue pin codes, and send them to the end-user via the Interaction.

Post-Session data mapping to ServiceNow custom fields

Currently post-session data is posted to the worknote or comments field within ServiceNow, and admins can select which session data is posted. This enhancement would allow admins to post certain post-session data points and choose which field within the ServiceNow record they are posted to.

Stay tuned for the above exciting releases!
