Please Improve the timer tool
Dear Team, I'd suggest, that you improve the timer tool. Right now, you can set up a timer from about 0 - 10 minutes. If a set 2 minute timer runs up, you will be able to restart the timer. Though, in case the timer is stopped at 1:30 for example, there is no way to reset the timer directly on 2 minutes other then again set up a completely new 2 minute timer. This is highly appreciated. Bring back Red pointer (Spotlight tool)
We need you to bring back the red circular pointer from the original version. We are a landscape construction firm who uses the platform to present CAD and photo concept images to clients. The red pointer was the only instrument we used while using GoToMeeting as we hover over all the new elements of our designs. Clients typically use GTM on their tablets and are unable to follow or see our cursor when we present due to their smaller screen size. We even tried increasing the size of our cursor and/or changing the color of it, but unfortunately your program defaults it to the standard small size white center, black outlined cursor. A further concern is when we present our second monitor, the cursor is not visible on the attendees monitor. This was not a problem on the prior version. Why were these basic items removed from the new version, please return them to the platform. We are aware of the highlighting tool on the new version, but it is overkill for our needs. Dark Mode for Web and Desktop
Having a built in dark mode option for the Go To Meeting website application and desktop application would be very useful. For me, I have sensitive eyes, so the the bright backgrounds can cause issues for me. With the web application I have tried utilizing different chrome extensions to give it a dark mode and unfortunately haven't found any that work well across this and my other daily web applications.
Remote Control: Please allow the ESC keypress to be sent to the remote side rather than stop control
[New Goto App] Please add an alternate keypress to cancel a remote control. I don't even know why we need to cancel it! But if you really think this is needed, I beg that you provide an option to set a different shortcut-key for this - so that the ESC keypress is passed to the remote session. For me, it means that I struggle to use the Linux Text editor (vi) as it uses the ESC key to exit an edit mode. But I see from other reports that it is used in many other scenarios. A general shortcut-key mapper system that allows users to alter any of the short-cut keys that would apply during a remote-control session would be even better!
Request keyboard / mouse control in new GoTo app
I used the new fangled desktop app experience with a customer for the first time today. I was frustrated to find that the ability to request guest screen share and guest mouse control from the contextual menu next to the guest's name was absent. I wasted a lot of time in the meeting as a result! I spoke to tech support who told me this functionality is coming but is not yet available in the new app. I don't recall this reduced functionality being made clear upfront anywhere andI don't recall being given a warning. LogMeIn - please make these limitations more clear to avoid frustration and wasted time.
Can we get Push-to-Talk added as an option?
Participants may be in a noisy environment. The lack of push to talk creates extra hassle of constantly having to mute, then unmute with the mouse control (even when participants are wearing headphones). Push to talk would solve this. All VoIP users should be able to assign their own PTT hotkey. When pressed it unmutes the mic, and when released, mutes it again. Many voice chat programs like Ventrillo, Teamspeak, and Mumble, have PTT. This would be a valuable option for GoToMeeting, Webinar, and Training.Sending files / file sharing during the broadcast
Frequently, during the meeting we would like to share files to respective team member. It would be nice if Gotomeeting has this feature. Our current workaround is to make someone presenter just to show one file and take control back but it is not the right way,
Allow attendees to start the meeting
Shouldn't there be a key or a meeting password so anyone who you pass on that information should be able to start a meeting. We use Goto meetings for centralized meeting and the original host doesn't have to be present, but this limitation of goto meeting gets us in trouble if the host calls in sick or is unable to make it to the meeting. I think it is a big limitation as we are calling people at home on vacations to start the meetings. Sending a new meeting invite creates confusion if your audience is larger that's why we avoid doing that.Allow multiple organizers to record locally at the same time
Hi, With the new app, it is not possible for two organizers to record. I understand the options, with cloud recording. My partner and I want the option back where both of us were able to record sessions so if one had an internet issue, we could rest assured that the other had a good recording. Please put back this option. I am not sure why it was taken away, but this is a huge deal to us and may require us to go to another provider after years of using GoToMeeting. I noticed that the new version of GOTO vs. GoToMeeting no longer allows you to disable an individual attendee's camera. When I host a group client session and talk to one client at a time, and a new client signs on after the call has started, the client will often log in with an enabled camera, disrupting the call flow. I used to be able to disable that while still talking to the current client, but now I can't do it. This enhancement isn't a luxury request; it's an essential function that this platform used to offer and that other platforms, including Zoom, allow you to do as an admin. Please add back this functionality. It's as crucial as muting an individual (which the platform rightly allows you to do).
Chat session record available upon joining meeting
Requesting a setting for the organizer to allow the entire session chat to auto import as attendees arrive throughout the session. Currently only pinned commentary can be viewed and attendees must wait until the session ends for a download of the chat history for the session. This feature will allow all chat to be viewed from any device throughout the session and with multiple log off and back on or if the call is dropped for some. Presently the chat field is blank if one must leave and resume the meeting and any lost commentary cannot be retrieved in a timely manner.
Bulk download all recordings
I think if GoTo doesn't want to add this feature, they should offer it as a support request. I should be able to contact support and ask for a downloadable archive or a list of direct download links to the videos for a given account. The need for archiving these kinds of things is not that unusual and it shouldn't be such a chore.Show if an attendee joined in the browser or desktop app
Please bring back the ability to see if someone has joined a session via the Web. The older version allowed you to see this right away. Since the web user cannot share keyboard/mouse control, it wastes time to find out they have joined with the web version only after they are already presenting. Or allow both sharing of All Screens and keyboard/mouse control for ALL users web and app.
Please set up a Voting-Tool in GoToMeeting
Please set up a voting possibility as it is common in Zoom or Teams. For meetings and votings in our board of directors a simple question and answer tool (yes, no, abstention) would be very usefull. As far as I know it is already implemented in GoToWebinar. So please, make it possible for GoToMeeting. All the BestNo limit for shared recordings

Starting this year I decided to record the courses and sell them. 80 students from a technical school acquired one of my courses, for this I asked for their emails to share them with them. When I enter the application, I select the video, I go to share, I select specific users and I capture the email, but the application only allows me to share it to 25 users, which is why I cannot share it to all students. It would be wonderful to be able to hide or minimize individual users' video feeds when looking at Active Cameras. Attendees' backgrounds or actions can be very distracting, so being able to toggle the visibility of their video feeds (hide/unhide) would make for a much more enjoyable conferencing experience.
Request to introduce presenter-only recording feature

I'd like to propose an enhancement to enable recording only the presenter’s webcam and screen.This functionality would provide hosts with precise control over the meeting recordings, ensuring that only relevant content is captured, which is essential for creating clean, focused, and professional meeting records. By capturing only relevant material, recordings become more effective as educational tools and for professional reference, adhering to the best practices in content retention and user privacy. The current "Who's Talking" feature in GoToMeeting, although useful, does not provide sufficient control for recording sessions effectively. This feature automatically switches the focus to whoever is speaking at the moment. While this might seem advantageous for capturing active participation, it often results in recordings that are fragmented and include unnecessary interruptions or background noise from other participants. This can detract from the main presentation, making the recordings less useful for later review or distribution, especially in a professional or educational context where clarity and focus are valued. Implementing a feature to record only the presenter’s webcam and screen would ensure the recordings remain streamlined and directly relevant to the subject matter discussed, without the disruptions caused by the shifting focus of the "Who's Talking" setting. Implementing this feature would not only meet the evolving needs of your diverse user base but also strengthen GoToMeeting's position as a leader in communication solutions. Compensate for low light when sharing webcam
Hi, My company uses GTM for our internal video conferencing and with clients, except where client prefers to use their own platform. As a result, we have recent experience with MS Teams and Zoom. One thing that we're noticed (while overall preferring GTM) is that the other two platforms handle low-light video much better. My home office is not dark but the video always looks dark, but only on GTM. My guess is that the other platforms are doing something automatically to correct low light situations and to optimize the video settings. If GTM can't do that, at the very least, it would be great to have access to the brightness, contrast, etc video settings that we had in the old GTM desktop app (thanks for recently providing the ability to zoom video in the new GoTo app!!). The subject says it all. Why? Because when invitees click on the 'About the host' link, they're navigated away from the Meeting's Landing page instead of opening the host's URL in anew window leaving the Meeting Landing page still visible/accessible; which is a much better UX in my opinion. I'd do it if I could, but the settings only allow us to specify the URL and not how it operates.Please enable auto record features

I am the administrator for several users in our firm. I was looking for a report that would show the attendees detail for one of our users meeting. In the admin center, if I select the user and meeting history, I have a choice for Meeting Diagnostics for the meeting. If clicked, I can see each attendee, the time of each connection and whether the connection was good/fair, etc. There is also a graph at the top which shows information about the quality of connections throughout the meeting. I was trying to find a report that would print this information as I am seeing it on the screen and cannot find one. Doing a print from the browser does not produce as good a report as I am seeing. Is there anyway to print this out of the reports module?More manageable size of a meeting recording OR a way to change the option
I'm using the GoTo app specifically for GoToMeeting, Version 0.124.21. After select Record in order to record the meeting, the older version of the product would prompt user to convert the recording after closing the meeting. The new version of the app doesn't prompt and automatically saves the recording. While the automatic recording and lack of having to convert is nice what is completely unusable is the result of the automatic recording file size. We record too many meetings to have this result of the size of the file. For example, I recording a 2 hour meeting with the older GoToMeeting is the file size/type 102,844 KB WMV File. The new GoTo results in a 1,352,678 KB WEBM File. Over 10x the file size of the older product.Track Attendance of dial in only participants> We proved a call in number and an Audio only attend
We provided a call in number and an Audio only attendee number to log in in mute only mode. this is for attendees that do not have a smart phone or other devices. However, we know they are there but there is no way to track them or even see what phone number dialed in. Have a way to be able to set the date format that GoToMeeting uses when booking a meeting. GoToMeeting only uses mm/dd/yyyy however here in the UK we use dd/mm/yyyy. This has resulted in a meeting being scheduled for the wrong day. Yes the calendar does work but it doesn't stop people from instinctively typing in the date.Landscape mode needed for tablet/mobile
We faced an unacceptable issue with the GoTo app on the tablet. We cannot normally conduct meetings and demos with our customers. Which makes it impossible to use GoTo app further. If one user (user A) is sharing the screen from the desktop app, the user on the tablet (user B) can see it only on the half of the screen. The other half of the screen is just dark space. It is impossible to see what is being shown. The issue persists on both iOS (023.06.2) and Android (2023.06.1).tool bar size (minimize)
Are there plans to allow the presenter to shrink the tool bar to an icon or hide it? We use a graphics based software with many tool icons for meetings. These are obscured by the oversized GoToMeeting tool bar. I am constantly having to move it around out the way. Hi team, Please don't ignore this feature it will be very helpful for everyone. Feature: Individual user should be able to see that his voice is reaching to team member with sign of Green, red or yellow indicator so that he doesn't need to ask participant that he/she is audible or not. Scenario1: If user voice is clearly audible to other participants then it should show green indicator or some green sign to that individual person. Scenario2: If user voice is breaking in between then he should see the Audio indicator in Yellow. Scenario3: Incase user audio is not reaching to participate it should show red indicator. Technical Logic: When user talks the voice goes to other participants so same voice we can get back and depends upon that audio quality we can show these indicators to user. Customer asked for the function to have either a slide bar or the possibility for more preconfigured values when zoom is adjusted. Currently there is no possibility other then the 100% 75% 50% 25% as preconfigured values. There is also no way to enter a value for the percentage of magnification. The scroll function of the mouse can be used to zoom in and out but this is not obvious to the users and also most are using a laptop with touchpad. Good evening! We have been using the new GoTo Meeting stuff today. I would like to make some suggestions about the drawing tools. I would like to speak with someone regarding the size of the drawings (way too big - it felt like using a huge highlighter, even with the smallest size - I'd love a small thin line or drawing tool like the classic pen tool). We also noticed that there were no right click options, on the pen tools. Those were very handy. I used those to switch colors, flip between mouse pointer and pen, and erase all drawings. I'd love to see those come back in to play. The other item of concern was the actual drawings themselves. I felt like the new drawings were much more edgy and not as smooth (missing pieces or adding tapered ends when they weren't wanted). Anyways, I use the drawing tools a ton for my presentation. I would love to give some input there. On positive side, I did like the undo option and also the size selection. I also liked the semitransparent options. I just wish we could choose an even smaller brush size.Is the Rectangle feature still available?
I can't see the Labs option any longer, despite using ctrl+shift+L to add the option back. Is there another way to get access to the Rectangle feature, or is there another way to share virtual zones/displays as if they were a separate physical display? I need to share multiple applications, but have an ultrawide monitor, so sharing the entire screen isn't going to work. I would love to either share the virtual zones I created with Microsoft's PowerToys FancyZones or else have some other way to share just a portion of my screen and ALL applications that are on that portion.Polling Feature in GoToMeeting
The polling feature already exists in Webinar and Training. I think it would be great to include it in Meeting as well. My organization only uses Meeting and it is very frustrating to have to use Zoom whenever we want to poll participants. It throws off consistency and confuses people outside the organization when they don't know what platform to use. The feature already exists within the GoTo platform so I feel like copying it over shouldn't be that big of an ask. Please let us mute individuals during a meeting. This is not the same as muting that person for everyone in the meeting but just for the person doing the muting. This prevents two people who are next to each other in a meeting from hearing an echo of each otherEdit video transcription
The video transcription tool does not understand all the words and makes many mistakes.I wonder if I can correct and edit the transcripts on the site itself (where the text is synchronized with the video) or is this only possible by downloading and editing the text on my computer. ariadnenatal I'm afraid you cannot currently edit the GoTo transcript yourself. We would appreciate the ability to set parallel audio channels for simultaneous translations in other languages. There should be a translator profile in the meeting and the the ability for users to choose the right audio channel. I would like to know if you have planned to implement something similar. According to him, this demand comes from a federal government decree that says they cannot keep recordings in the cloud, so it is necessary that the resource be included in local recordings. For the various Reports in Admin Center, especially the Usage Report, please include Co-Organizers in the data. Or provide a Co-Organizer report. GTM Support has confirmed that the reports do not account for Co-Organizers. We have several licensed users that show as not having any meetings in the reports. Thus, it looks like they don't use the account. The reality is that administrative assistants are scheduling the GTM meetings in their own account and setting these other GTM licensed users as Co-Organizers. More accurate reporting would be very useful to us.GoToRoom Start Up Suggestion
Hello, It would be fantastic to be able to customize the startup of the rooms instead of through the meetings. I see a benefit of being able to default the webcam to be disabled on start, as well as the customization of the top bar of people attending the meetings. When using PowerPoint, if you have multiple monitors, you can designate a monitor to view your speaker notes, and the other one (geared for the audience) would only see the slide deck. With only one monitor, you cannot view your speaker notes. I would like to think that if I am presenting a gotomeeting, there are multiple monitors involved. It would be a great patch if the gotomeeting module counted as a virtual monitor so I could designate my monitor shows the speaker notes while the audience only saw the presentation. I know, I can print the notes or view them on another device... I am just saying, this addition to gotomeeting would be very convenient.
