LogMeIn using excessive energy on Mac

Hello. I have been using LogMeIn for over a year, no problems. Since the LogMeIn upgrade last week the app is now causing my Mac fan to run incessantly and the Activity Monitor indicates LogMeIn is using large amounts of energy. No other apps are running, I have tested it by quitting and reopening LogMeIn. The energy drops and the fan stops if I quit the program. I have checked Systems, etc.

2.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2 GB

Please let me know possible solutions. Thanks.

I've found a work around. If I change the color quality from HD to low or med CPU goes to back down to normal levels. This could have been the difference between my PCs that weren't having the same issue also.

NWMedia-FRN  That's interesting if you say it doesn't happen with all Host PCs.  Can you state how the problem Host has its displays attached there?

This does't happen on all connections. Just happens to be the one I need to use the most.

PC version 4.1.0.14344 (March 12 2021) on all.

Note: PC causing issue is on an older build of Win10 Ver .1607

(Don't seem to have the issue on my Win10 Ver. 1809 PCs)

    Hello,

I apologize for the recent behavior changes there.

Is your host computer also a Mac OS, or Windows?
