LMI AV - Installation failed!
Hi community!
I've got an issue with a brand new PC.
Do you know if there is a timing for LMI AV to be supported on Windows 11 24H2?
("Version 7.9.9.381 is not compatible with Windows 10 Pro 24H2 (10.0.26100.1742).Please download the latest installation kit.")

Hi Xav_prl,
The October 16th release includes: Improvements related to an upcoming LogMeIn Antivirus release. It only impacts users who have LogMeIn Antivirus installed on their remote hosts.
This is preparation for the Antivirus update that we plan to release in a couple of weeks if testing goes well.

release in a couple of weeks
Doh ! So it seems that we are not yet ready to be able to install LMI on 24h2 PCs. Maybe for Christmas?

LMI Version 4.1.0.15746 is out now. And the problem with laptops running on Windows 11 24H2 is still unresolved.

I just received this from the LMI support tech that I have been communicating with regarding the issue of LMI AV not installing on new computers with Windows 11 24H2. It looks like there should be a solution available on November 4.
"Thank you for your time on this. After your report we have been escalating similar cases to our developers and they were able to work on a potential fix for Windows builds that are no longer insider builds but are been marked as insider builds still. The release with be made on November 4th and the build will be version 4.1.0.15746, this will allow you to install the LogMeIn Antivirus on Windows version 24H2 and below. I would kindly ask you to try with the update once it has been release, and if you are still having problems after the update, please let me know."

Xav_prl, we are still waiting on BitDefender to provide us with a new version. Once we have it and a release date is available I will update this post.

And now that the full public release of Windows 11 24H2 is out since october 1st,
Where is the LMI Anti-virus support for this Windows version ?

Thanks for the answer GlennD
But you may advise BitDefender that manufacturers as Lenovo send their brand new laptops with the latest Windows 11 release. As the last ones we received this week. In fact, Windows 11 version 24H2 is now available on Copilot+ PCs, and coming later this year to everyone else.
So, for a security company like GoTo or BitDefender, this type of answer ("support will come with the full public release of Windows 11 24H2, which is not far off" Gosh !!! Windows 11 24H2 is rolling out since 1 month guys !) seems quite light to me.

Hi Xav_prl,
The LMI Anti-virus is powered by BitDefender and they say support will come with the full public release of Windows 11 24H2, which is not far off.
