Have you tried using these Azure credential formats? 

Central generally should accept any of the following formats when a Technician needs to authenticate as an Administrator to a remote computer:

  • domainname\username
  • Cloud Only AzureAD Account
  • UPN
  • AzureAD\UPN
  • AzureAD\USERNAME
  • AzureAD\FirstNameLastName

Hybrid Account (On-Prem AD synced to AzureAD)

  • UPN
  • AzureAD\UPN
  • AzureAD\USERNAME
  • AzureAD\FirstNameLastName
  • DOMAIN\Username
  • MACHINENAME\Username (where UPN is usually to be an email address)
  • domain\user
  • machinename\user
  • user@domain
