Bulk delete v4 devices in v5
I am not seeing a way to bulk delete devices in Gotoassist v5. This is a big problem for many reasons.
When installing Gotoassist unattended v5 it is installing side by side with v4 causing dupl...

HI derekm1
GoToAssist v5 is not a direct upgrade from v4 in the traditional sense, so installing it on a computer does not replace the v4 software that is already installed, GoToAssist v5 is a total rewrite on an newer platform. That being said there is a way for you to bulk remove the v4 unattended software from your clients:
- Sign into your GoToAssist account directly on http://up.gotoassist.com/ to access the v4 Dashboard
- At the top of the page select Devices to see all of your v4 Unattended clients
From here you can view all of your v4 Unattended devices and groups, Ctrl + click to select multiple individual devices and then click Delete at the bottom of the page. You can also move them to a specific Group and then click Manage Device Groups at the bottom of the list of Groups on the left side of the page, and on the next screen you can delete individual groups and all of the Unattended v4 clients in them.
Deleting an Unattended client from your list will trigger the v4 Unattended software to uninstall from your clients computer.

GlennD Can we submit a ticket to have you guys remove all 900+ devices in our v4 list? We don't want to ctrl + click over 900 devices to remove the v4 client. Needs to be a select all option.

derekm1 Let me check if that is something we can do for you.
Just to confirm, you have installed v5 unattended on all of the clients you need it access to correct?
Your 900 v4 devices are not in device groups that could be deleted?

GlennD We do not have the v5 client pushed out to all yet. We're just coming up with a plan with what has to be done. We do currently have 2 device groups. So what you're saying is when we deploy we should deploy to a different device group and then we can delete the existing device groups which will remove the old v4 client?
