Retirement

I am a healthcare professional and am retiring in June.  I have patient records and will still need to be reachable periodically by patients after my retirement.  My question is, what is the best way to do this without having to maintain a separate phone line for incoming calls?  Can I hust have the GoTo App switch my calls to my cell?  Do I have them go to a voicemail that I can check periodically?  I want to be able to access important calls, but don't want every call (sales calls) to get through.

Wondering how others have handled this

To manage your calls effectively after retirement without maintaining a separate phone line, you can use the GoTo app to forward your calls to your cell phone. Here’s how you can set it up:

Hi drj2025, Welcome to the Community, and thanks for sharing your question here. There are several ways to manage your calls, including:

    • Setting up a personalized dial plan (Find Me/Follow Me) that routes incoming calls however you want.  This will redirect callers to various destinations like your cell phone.
    • You can also set up voicemail and voicemail to email to get a notification via email.
    • Additionally, you can also enable Voicemail transcription, where you can review a transcription of the voicemail in your email.

If you need more steps or have specific questions around your set-up, let me know. Congratulations on your retirement!
