Several Spam Calls

We are new to GoTo and experiencing several spam calls a day. All the calls are local prefix but different 4 digit number. At first, they were all coming from the same town; however, now they are coming from different locations in the same prefix. I have used the filter to block these numbers, but the list is getting long. I thought filtering them would eventually stop the spam calls, but they are just continuing from different places. Is anyone else experiencing this and what did you do to fix it?

    Unfortunately, spammers of any kind are difficult to deal with and often the best you can hope for is to discourage them enough they move on to someone else for while. We deal with them here in community frequently. GoTo Connect has a suspected SPAM label, but it only appears if the number calling is already on an FCC list that we check. The call filters can also help, but when they can easily change numbers it is more challenging. I would recommend trying mkeaton's suggestion, my phone has a similar feature for calls from unknown numbers and they always hang up.

    If its calls coming into your main phone number you may have to shield everyone behind  a phone tree/dial plan. Spammers wont be able to select 1 for dept 1, etc. The same goes for direct dial numbers. Set up a dial plan for each direct #, make the caller press 1 to connect. Would only need to be for a few weeks, eventually the calls will stop once they get no human voices to answer their calls. The filter wont work if they are spoofing phone numbers.
