Connect in Browser issues

When using the Connect In Browser option, we are seeing the following issues.

  1. The remote PC has its Resolution Settings greyed out so the user cannot change remote screen resolution
  2. Remote PC randomly locks the screen and user has to sign back in
  3. If someone is connected to a remote PC via the Connect in Browser option, the main account page doesnt show the device as In Session, like it does when using the regular client connection

Are Suggestions or plans to fix these in a future update please?

Thanks

Thanks, will see if we can recreate the issue but I can say that the remote monitor was not switched off or disconnected

    MRP2024 Thank you.

#1 Is it possible that the monitor on the remote computer was turned off or disconnected? When this happens the video card in the computer is not engaged so resolution options are not available

#2 Will need more information to test and identify. Please ask the users who experienced this to make notes if it happens again, especially if anything else odd happens or the session connection is unstable

#3 The traditional My Computers page currently does not show when a Host is in a browser based session, however, if you click the toggle in the upper right and switch to the new view the Hosts will show as In Session

Hi MRP2024, welcome to the community.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. Connect in browser is a new feature and will be be rolling out updates to improve the experience and add more features. For issue #2 can we get some more details like:

    • Does it happen randomly at different times?
    • Does it happen to all of your users or just some, or one specific user?
