Rejection Code 2117

Rejection Code 2117: Invalid Call To Action - The opt-in form must include information on how a customer can receive help

I've been having a little bit of trouble with this form. I have submitted it multiple times with this rejection code not ever showing up before. But after I got our Franchise to change our opt-in form to comply with the prior errors which it did fix. All of a sudden this error pops up. Which I am very confused about because the error doesn't make sense. So I would greatly appreciate it if someone could explain to me what this error is asking for, or an example. Our opt-in form is here https://www.mottomortgage.com/offices/assurance-lexington/contact-us if anyone is able to look at it and explain why it doesn't meet the applications standards. It is not easy by any means to update our opt-in form and took weeks just to resolve the prior issues. So I would like to be able to know exactly what to ask for if or when I have to request another change.

  • Hi Spencer-S, I've opened a support ticket for you, but from looking at the rejection reason and your website the issue appears to be the last line of your Opt-out message. From what I have seen and read they are looking for something like this to be added: "For assistance reply HELP" to where it says "Reply STOP to opt out of further messaging."

I am going to leave the ticket open so that one of our support representatives also takes a look, just in case there is anything else the Carrier team might call out. We are working with them as closely as possible to make sure that registrations are approved.

Ok, thank you. I will reach back out to my team. Hopefully after this it will finally be resolved.
