Text Messages Disappearing
For months now we've had an issue where text messages flat out disappear within grasshopper. It started with when you would tap on notifications of a text message, it would bring up the text chain, but the message from the notification would not appear withing the conversation. This would force us to request the sender to re-send the message. Today we have an issue where messages from over the weekend are not showing within the text chains themselves. Previous texts from earlier in the month show within the text chain, but recent texts do not show. We are unable to verify if any communications ever happened unless original recipient sends us a screenshot to verify the conversations took place. I've tried deleting the app and re-installing. I've verified my app is fully up to date. I've tried re-syncing the number multiple times. I've tried logging out and logging back in. I've also tried refreshing the "Conversations" tab multiple times. This is issue is persistent amongst all users of our account so I'm fairly confident this is a Grasshopper-side issue, not a device issue. This is very frustrating as our business relies on verifying the history of these communications and I have not found any workarounds to make the conversations appear.

iowan text messages are deleted by the user, so this should not be happening. I do see you have a case opened and the team is currently reviewing. Thanks for contacting support and for your patience as we review.

No, Grasshopper was unable to help me. We have since switched services to a different company due to Grasshopper's unreliability.

Having same issues. Today at least 6 unread texts disappeared. I need them back. No fault of my own.

Welcome to the Community. I'm sorry to hear this.
Are you using a VPN? If so, can you turn it off?
If this is not the issue you should try contacting customer support who can test the phone number to see what may be causing this.
