can't connect to my mac when its connected to 2 seperate networks at the same time

While I haven't heard of a similar setup like that on Mac Hosts, I am wondering if you have tried to use Service Order to prioritize network connection types before you connect?   Here's a 3P guide that I found online for reference:  http://osxdaily.com/2013/06/15/set-network-connection-priority-mac-os-x/
