Feature Request: Permanently disable session info overlay at top of window

I was told by technical support/customer service that I have to post a feature request here.

As a user, I'd really like to be able to permanently turn off the semi-transparent session information popup/overlay window at the top of every one of my sessions. It's always in the way of what I'm doing, never useful to an end user like me, and often difficult to actually close...with my laptop mouse in bright light trying to find that tiny transparent 'x'.
