Linux can't reach anything
Hi, I just installed the latest of Hamachi on a Windows and Linux box. The Linux box has been logged into the account, and attached tothe same network. It cannot find the Windows box by its ip with ping, nor with minecraft (25565). I'm trying to connect to a Windows 10 box just for minecraft.
sudo hamachi check-update
Checking for updates .. ok
You are already running the latest version of Hamachi
hamachi attach blah
Sending attach request to blah without networks .. failed, already attached
Can you help me get this set up, please? I've been throughthe user's guide at https://documentation.logmein.com/documentation/EN/pdf/Hamachi/LogMeIn_Hamachi_UserGuide.pdf
https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tutorials/Setting_up_a_server
I've had no issues hosting Minecraft Linux to Linux, multiple servers at once, or port forwarding, but these two pc's are not going to be on the same network going forward. I've used Hamachi just fine for other games, several years ago, but right now, ping won't reach the Hamachi ip address of the Winbox.
I haven't expressly prohibited icmp.... so help, please?
Nevermind, opening Windows 10's multiple firewalls
now allows ping. I also added Minecraft to the firewall exception list in Windows 10,
