TL;DR
Unattended access doesn't work if the user you want to monitor/interact with is connected to the unattended PC via RDP.
LogMeIn Central has an option after connecting to a remote computer via the "Terminal" dropdown box shown below:
Using this dropdown, you can choose either the "Console" terminal session or the "User" terminal session. This is especially useful if the user you are trying to connect with is already connected via RDP and you need to interact with their session to help them with something or install something under their user profile (our users do not have local admin rights).
