Hi TC_B82, I think this is more of an issue report than a Community Idea. I will share this feedback with the team and we will investigate if there have been any changes to how Outlook processes our calendar events. Do you happen to know what versions of Outlook your customers who contacted you are using?

The team reviewed, this behavior can be expected when using Outlook. The help article has been updated to reflect this:
4. Optional: Add the event to your calendar so you are notified of when to join:
- From your confirmation email, select Add to Calendar, and then select the desired calendar type (Outlook, Google, or iCal).Result: A calendar file will download in your browser. You need to select the file to open it, at which point, you will see a new calendar event with all the webinar details.
- Tip: Sometimes with Outlook specifically, they may treat the invitation like an event you're hosting rather than just adding it to your calendar for you as a participant. When this happens, you will see a Send Update option in the main canvas rather than the traditional Save option after downloading and opening the ICS file. Do not select Send Update. Instead, select File > Save & Close to save the event to your calendar properly.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, it will help others who may be experiencing the same thing.
