Unattended 3.5 on High Sierra shows a blank screen after login

We just purchased and started setting up a new Mac Mini for a client as a mac server.  We installed updates and the mac server, then unattended.  I can connect to unattended and log in fine, but then then I get "Starting Screen Sharing" and its just a blank screen after that.  Rebooting or signing in as another users still causes the same issue.

Hi Nate,

Does the Mac mini have a monitor connected to it?

Re: Unattended 3.5 on High Sierra shows a blank screen after login

Impossible situation with Mac and UAS. I thought we'd gotten past this a few years ago as this used to happen.

What happens..

Remote session logs in (sometimes) full view of screen momentarily. Fulle use of mouse, keyboard etc. Then message pops up saying 'restarting screen sharing'. On the client mac, system is thrown to login screen. If the user attempts to put in the password, message reads 'Screen Sharing Stopped' and that's the end of it.   If technician actually manages to see the screen and puts the password in himself, the mac logs in but the technician is greeted with a black screen.  Message on the client mac says 'screen is being shared'.

Really need a fix for this.

Also doesn't restart the the unattended software after reboot.

Sorry to hear about this behavior, Jason.

Do you have any other Mac clients where this is occurring on?

Have you already tried testing with a full reinstall on the Unattended machine, or an alternate user?

Hi Ash

Working fine on other clients pre sierra. Was stable and fine on the client in question until upgrading to sierra, and that's when the problems began.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the unattended software.
