Profile picture doesn't show in Gotomeeting

I've updated my profile picture in my account settings via the website. This profile picture does not show up in the gotomeeting app.

 

I would like to have this show when my camera is turned off. I don't see a way to do this in the app preferences.

    Hi CKCPA, welcome to the community.

     

    From your comments it sounds like you may be using GoToMeeting Classic still (orange icon), where this was more of a beta/labs feature. 

     

    In the GoTo App experience, once you have added your photo to your profile and saved it the image will be displayed in place of your webcam whenever your webcam is not being shared, including when you are attending someone else's meeting.

    I have added my profile picture to GoToMeeting, but would like it to show when I'm in a meeting.  How do I make this happen?  I cannot find any results for this solution specifically.  There is an option in the People box of the meeting to "Drop profile picture file on Attendee Pane" however this is greyed out.  How can I get my profile picture to show in the meeting, in place of my camera feed?

    I know this topic is old, but my organization is looking for this and we can't seem to find an option to do this.  It is true that looking at initials is not ideal.  If this has been implemented please let me know how we can use it, otherwise is this feature going to be added in the near future?

    Kcain  Hopefully more will be known before the end of 2021.  We are set to release a new experience in the coming days that will start to add new features like this.

    Kcain I have pretty much given up on GoToMeeting adding anything new other than very very minor things like supporting zoom with a mouse wheel!  You can see their last release notes at

    Note most things are bug fixes, or even removing features.

     

    Meanwhile, their competitors add new features monthly.

    Is there an update to this feature yet?  GTM competitors (Zoom & Teams) are way ahead.

    We don't see any profile pictures in Go To Meeting, it seems to be a Lab's function that does not work either on the Mac (or on Windows in our tests).

    As your competitors have working profile pictures for their meeting participants is there a plan to add this to GoToMeeting? Not everyone can participate by video and 10 months+ of looking at initials in meetings is getting old. AshC
