Backup Host computer to memory stick on the local client computer

Can I backup the data on the host computer to a memory stick at the local computer? Kind of like the ability to print to the client computer when on the host computer?

Hi Pam,
That may be possible - to send the file directly to an external drive at the Client end, though depending on the setup it may have to be saved first on the local client machine before transferring elsewhere.

Re: Backup Host computer to memory stick on the local client computer

Hi Pam,

GoToMyPC has both File Transfer and File Sync feature that can be used to copy files from the Host computer to the Client. They can be used for individual files but would not be practical for backing up the entire computer: https://support.citrixonline.com/en_US/GoToMyPC/help_files/GTC070003?title=File+Transfer

If you are looking for a full backup solution, I would personally recommend looking at CrashPlan.

Hi Elaine,
If I understand you correctly, it would be a two part process to backup data somewhere connected to your Client, after transferring from the Host computer.
