Same issue only reported recently. g2tray.exe v126.96.36.19942. Reboot = fail, uninstall / reinstall = fail, can't access preferences since the tray icon disappears as soon as the cursor comes into contact with it. Tried running as administrator / compatibility mode, etc... Is LogMeIn aware of the issue and do they have a solution?
Confirmed. V10.2.0.2695 downloaded on 03/18/2021. client auto updated at some point later through the evening to 188.8.131.5242 and no longer works on Windows Server OS.

If you are still being affected by this issue, and want an immediate resolution, please call Customer Support at your convenience in order to request a temporary downgrade of the server's GoToMyPC software build.
I can't right click on GTMPC icon as it disappears before you can do anything. Hope fix will be done soon.

I use GTMYPC to work on our server working remotely from home.
Running a Windows 2012 server which is running Windows 10 on an Amazon EC2 instance in the AWS cloud. Access for important users through GTMPC rather than other methods. The server suddenly became "unavailable" about 5 days ago, GTMPC is working, because can log into other computers under same general GTMPC, which show fine, but the 3rd computer, the AWS EC2 instance, shows unavailable. Have run all windows patches, plus uninstalled and reinstalled GTMPC. Still shows unavailable, and when you click on the up arrow in bottom right hand corner of other computer, the GTMPB icon shows with a "!" over it, but when you maneuver there, it disappears.
What is solution. Critical access.

Check the g2tray.exe version number - ...Program Files (x86)\GotoMyPC\g2tray.exe - right click properties, details and look at the version # - 22.214.171.12442 has the issue. I had an older client, v 10.2.0.2695, which I installed to test / reproduce the issue. The current resolution we have employed is to right click the system tray icon (GTMPC), select Preferences and change the auto-update to "ask me to install updates".
Can the update of the host be done remotely? I'm not in the office nor in front of the server. I was able to RDP into the server from another GoToMyPC (workstation) host and reinstall the host on the server but it seems version: 126.96.36.19942 was reinstalled on the server host.
