MS Office files become corrupted with drag/drop for client to host (but not the other way around)

Hi all,

I've been having an issue where MS Office files (possibly other types too) become corrupted when I drag them from my home PC (running Norton) to my office PC (running TrendMicro and possibly others).  MS reports "We found problem with some content in <file name>.  Do you want us to try to recover as much as we can?  If you trust the source of this <document type>, click Yes."  I don't trust MS to get the job done so I then use the file transfer tool within GoTo.

Is there a way to resolve this kind of problem?  I assume that something is happening with one of the firewalls but am not sure and have no control over the host system.

Thanks for your help

@jstiles  There should be no difference between the drag-and-drop method and the file transfer interface.  We tried to replicate the behavior you described between two Windows 10 machines, but were unsuccessful.  Have you been able to run any tests without all those firewalls involved?
