On one of the PCs I was able to regain a functional GoToMyPC by reinstalling. The other one has a Windows Installer issue so re-installation can't occur successfully. Running System File Checker doesn't seem to have helped. I'll try what you last posted.
My org also lost GoToMyPC "Avialabilties" on multiple UK-based PCs during last weekends maintanance outtage. They are not coming back, despite the PCs still being accessable via Remote Desktop and restarted via RDT. Direct access to the PCs is now impossible over Xmas. Is there anything that can be done to repair whatever went wrong last weekend remotely?
Hi @ianbell, welcome to the community.
Unfortunately, it sounds like those Host PCs may need to have the host software reinstalled. If you can connect via RDP and use a console session so you can see what is actually on the screen of the computer, you may be able to do this remotely.
I've got everything working now, thank you for your help.
Unfortunately reinstalling GoToMyPC usually requires getting a new GoToMyPC authorization for the PC which I cannot now do till Jan. Dec 17 may not have been the best date for such disruptive maintenace.
