Allow users to manage how frequent they want to receive GoToMyPC Host updates based off of how critical the updates might be. For example, adding an option for 'Security Critical Updates Only' as opposed to performance fixes or minor feature releases.
A description of what the non security updates contain would help users decide if they need it. My policy is, if gotomypc is performing well, and it's not a security related update, why bother updating? In that scenario there's only the potential for big downside; the gotomypc process hogging much of the CPU all the time. Given this software is used by people far away from their computers, I see no wisdom in risking huge performance issues, or knocking them offline if it isn't a major, urgent security update.
